27/6/14: Birthday Pirate Ceilidh in Hampshire

hampshire pirate ceilidh

One of the highlights of 2014 so far was the birthday ceilidh of Bethan who, with the help of friends and family had transformed her local village hall into a pirate ship, complete with rigging, skeletons, lanterns, cannons and treasure!

The band got into the spirit, joining guests in full sailor attire and performing a special set of nautical themed music. Caller Louise Wells' fine haul of pirate dances went down a storm and the rum punch never stopped flowing - what a great night! We enjoyed it so much that we're planning our own public pirate ceilidh, with Bethan's help, at Folk Of The Wood in November this year.

"Thankyou and your fabulous crew for the best ceilidh EVER!" - Bethan
